High-pressure diaphragm filter press relative to the general box-type filter press, high pressure resistance, drying rate is higher. The water content of filter cake is 10% lower than that of general box type. The water content of the filter cake is generally around 60%-65%. Compared with the traditional box filter press, the solid content of the filter cake is higher, and the logistics cost of the filter cake is greatly reduced.
In contrast, the diaphragm filter press needs to be equipped with two pumps to carry out its work: one is the feed pump and the other is the press pump. The feed pump of the diaphragm filter press is normally equipped with a pump. The secondary press pump can be pressed by a centrifugal water pump (multi-stage pump). The application of a centrifugal water pump requires a water storage tank to be configured at the same time. The second press can also be replaced by an air compressor without a water storage tank.
The diaphragm filter press is arranged by diaphragm plates and box-type filter tubes to form a filter chamber. Under the load of the feeding pump, the slurry is fed into the filter chamber, and the solid and liquid in the slurry are separated according to the filtered substance (filter cloth of the filter press). When the solid in the slurry produces cake, the gas enters the diaphragm to fully squeeze the solid in the filter chamber and reduce the water content. This machine has its unique characteristics for filtering systems for viscous materials and for customers with high moisture content.
